Welcome back to Sunday Selections!
This once-a- week-meme was originally begun by Kim of Frog Ponds Rock, as a way to showcase some of the many photos we all take, but don't get around to showing on our blogs.
The rules are very simple:-
1. post photos of your choice, old or new, under the Sunday Selectionstitle
2. link back to me, River, somewhere in your post
3. leave me a comment so that I know you've joined in and can come over and see what you've posted.
4. hop on over to The Elephant’s Child to see more of her wonderful photos.
I usually go with a theme for my Sunday Selections and this week I'm continuing with some photos of my holiday in the West.
The first few photos were taken somewhere a little south of Hillary's Boat Harbour
I don't remember the exact location of this area, it's the same as where the statue of Bon Scott stands.
I love this bronze woman enjoying her day by the water.
Bronze fisherman
here he is looking at us. Even the baskets are bronze.
Another bronze fisherman. nice bum.
side view...
Taken with the sun in my face, causing the rainbow effect.
The next two photos are actually at Hillary's Boat Harbour.
I spotted this Cormorant drying his wings and he very obligingly stayed there while I walked around and took......
...this. It's one of my favourite holiday photos.
Yes, he's real, not a statue.
He caused quite a stir as several small people called to their parents to "come and see this!"
I have to say I think WA does fantastic bronze statues. I saw so many everywhere I went.
