As I promised on my last PFW review, I'm going to talk to you about Marc Jacobs' time designing for LV. 16 years full of important moments. Good and bad collections, great runway shows, lots of top models,...

Our story starts in 1997, when MJ designed his first collection for LV. He definetely made the brand relevant again. The old bags became iconic and he also created new prints and logos, which became really popular.
Lots of new (and really big) stores were opened all over the world. And MJ also challenged himself by creating the first piece of jewelry for the brand.

He was also known for his collaborations with important people. And of course, he also had the power to get big celebrities for his campaigns: Madonna, Angelina Jolie, etc...

Some of his collections will never be forgotten because of several reasons. His runway shows were real SHOWS.

Como prometí en mi última reseña de la semana de la moda de París, voy a hablar del tiempo que ha pasado Marc Jacobs como director creativo de LV. 16 años llenos de momentos importantes. Buenas y malas colecciones, grandes desfiles, muchas top models,...

Nuestra historia empieza en 1997, cuando MJ diseñó su primera colección para LV. Es claro que hizo que la marca volviese a ser relevante. Los bolsos antiguos se convirtieron en piezas icónicas y, aparte de eso, ha creado nuevos estampados y logos que se han convertido en muy populares.
Muchas tiendas nuevas (y muy grandes) se abrieron por todo el mundo. Y MJ se retó a si mismo al crear la primera pieza de joyería de la marca.

También es conocido por sus colaboraciones con gente muy importante. Y por supuesto, también tuvo el poder de conseguir grandes celebridades para sus campañas: Madonna, Angelina Jolie, etc...

Algunas de sus colecciones serán difíciles de olvidar, por múltiples razones. Sus desfiles fueron auténticos ESPECTÁCULOS.
