Zoe Saldana hit back at haters this week after she was criticized for letting her husband Marco Perego take on her last name.
But by Thursday the 36-year-old beauty looked worry free as she arrived at Jimmy Kimmel Live! studios in Hollywood.
The Avatar actress was impossible to miss in a vibrant coral and burgundy dress that nipped at her famously toned waistline.
For her upcoming appearance, Zoe dazzled with her dark brown locks styled in a straight and glossy hairdo.
Her hair was pinned behind her ears, and her youthful complexion radiated with light pink blush and a little lipstick.
The Colombiana actress flashed a cheerful grin towards her fans and even appeared to give a shout-out in their direction.
The appearance comes just days after Zoe took to Facebook to respond to the revelation that her husband had taken on her surname.
Zoe revealed he had done so during an interview for InStyle Magazine's July 2015 cover story, and said she had initially 'tried to talk him out of it.'
'If you use my name, you're going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world,' she recounted telling her husband.
'But Marco looks up at me and says: Ah Zoe, I don't give a s**t.'
On Monday, Zoe responded on Facebook: 'Fathers, sons, brothers, men everywhere: Your legacy will not perish if you take your partner’s surname, or she keeps hers.'
'I've been made aware that a comment I made regarding my marriage has garnered some attention. I felt proud that my husband decided to take my last name as his own.'
The actress added: 'Why is it so surprising, shocking - eventful that a man would take his wife's surname?'
'Women have never been asked if its ok for them to give up their names - why doesn’t that make the news?'
The statement was signed off by both of them, who are parents of five-month-old twins Cy and Bowie.
